HOUSTON – Photos from Sky 2 chopper video shows vehicles stuck in miles-long traffic on 610 North Loop eastbound at I-69 Eastex Freeway.

Houston TranStar is reporting a heavy truck lost its load during a two-vehicle crash at 10:49 a.m.
The heavy truck apparently lost its tanker, which ended up on I-69 Eastex southbound at I-610 North Loop.
All mainlanes have been closed on the North Loop at I-69 Eastex as crews work to clear scene.
No hazmat spill has been reported. The extent of injuries have not been disclosed.
The Texas Department of Transportation announced multiple closures that will remain in place until further notice.
Current closures:
- 610 North Loop eastbound mainlanes at I-69 Eastex Freeway
Detour: Drivers should continue eastbound on I-610 North Loop and use the I-69 direct connectors to navigate around the closure.
- I-69 Eastex Freeway northbound connector ramp to I-610 North Loop westbound
Detour: Continue northbound on I-69 and take I-610 North Loop eastbound to bypass the ramp closure.
- I-69 Eastex Freeway southbound – Mainlanes closed at I-610 North Loop
Detour: Drivers will need to detour via the frontage road.
